When I was in my early twenties, I often wondered: What do women want? What don’t women want? How do I attract more women? How do I attract better women? This is my short answer, based on experience:
1. Most women don’t want a wuss.
That means: They don’t want guys who wait for them to make all the decisions. They don’t like guys who suck up. In my experience, maybe 10% of women like this sort of thing, and it’s usually because they want a slave and not real fun or true love.
2. They also don’t want super-macho guys who try to impress them. Again, maybe 10% of women go for this. There are other ways to be “alpha,” like:
3. Women do like decisiveness, resourcefulness and confidence.
What does this mean? Having direction. Figuring things out. Finding your way in life. That doesn’t mean you can’t make mistakes. You can. But when you make mistakes, you must learn from them and become stronger, always keeping your direction in mind. You have to have goals and you have to go after them in intelligent way.
If you don’t feel confident, that’s ok. Most guys are scared shitless in their lives. Even the ones who pretend not to be. If your confidence, decisiveness and resourcefulness are lacking, you should start to make small improvements until you do feel confident. Think, analyze, adjust your strategy and carry on in a positive way. This is still alpha behavior, or, as the ancient Chinese would call it, yang behaviour.
4. Understand her.
When you communicate, listen and understand first before you respond to her. Care enough to see who she really is. Understand her heart and soul. If you don’t, she will build a wall of protection around her emotions so that she doesn’t get hurt. This will alienate her. You’ve already lost the game at this point.
5. Commitment.
If you’re looking to have some fun, this isn’t an issue. But if you’re looking for true love, then commitment is essential. That means no sexual escapades. You commit to being with one woman and to communicating openly with her. If you’re lucky, you may become soulmates.
Fundamentally, most women want to give and receive love. You have to give her that opportunity.
